The result screen shows your speed (km/h or mph), a confidence score (0–100) and any warnings. The confidence score summarizes how reliable the measurement is; a higher score means a cleaner clip.
Confidence score
Confidence is computed from frame rate, the number of tracked frames, how often the ball was lost, how linear the trajectory is (R²) and radius consistency. Only measurements with confidence ≥ 60 enter the leaderboards, so low-quality videos don’t distort rankings.
Warnings
- Low fps: may be less precise — record in slow-motion.
- Ball lost: the ball couldn’t be tracked for part of the clip.
- Depth motion: the ball may have moved toward/away from the camera.
- Motion blur: record at a higher fps.
- Scale uncertain: try manual calibration.
Speed leagues
Each sport has five tiers from Rookie to Legend; thresholds follow the sport’s real speed ranges. In football, for example, 95–115 km/h is “Pro”.
km/h and mph
You choose the unit in your profile; a default is set from your browser language (en-US → mph, others km/h). Both units appear on the result screen and the card.
