When a measurement fails or confidence is low, the cause is almost always video quality, marking or scale. The fastest fix: re-record at a higher fps, side-on, in good light.
“Ball not found”
Make sure you tapped the ball squarely in the first frame. Detection is easier when the ball is sharp and against a plain background. Zoom in and tap the ball’s centre.
Low confidence
- Increase fps (slow-motion 120–240).
- Film side-on; shots travelling toward the camera lower confidence.
- Use better light; reduce motion blur.
- Try manual calibration.
“Couldn’t read the video”
Some older formats can’t be decoded in the browser. Use a standard MP4/MOV filmed with your phone’s camera app; avoid screen recordings or re-encoded files.
Analysis is too slow
On an older device the app offers server analysis. If you accept, the video is uploaded temporarily and deleted after analysis. Alternatively, trim a shorter clip.
