The service
BallSpeed is a web app that measures ball speed from a slow-motion phone video, for fun. The service is provided “as is”.
Eligibility and age
Users below the age threshold require parental consent (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for keeping your account and password secure.
Accuracy disclaimer
BallSpeed is not a radar gun and makes no claim of absolute accuracy. Measurement is relative and consistency-focused: everyone is measured with the same algorithm. Do not use results for professional, medical, legal or betting purposes.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten or impersonate others.
- Use inappropriate, offensive or misleading display names, team names or content.
- Manipulate results by cheating or disrupt the operation of the service.
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

Your content
Your measurements and display name are yours. When you make a result public or create a challenge, you grant us a limited licence to display it within the service and on share cards. You can make it private or delete it at any time.
Warranty and liability
The service may not be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages.
Suspension and termination
We may restrict or close accounts that violate the rules. You may delete your account at any time.
Changes
We may update these terms and announce material changes in the app. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
